Fnatic vs TNC Predator Predictions

Predictions: Fnatic to win

Odds: 1.64

Betting Site: Odds provided by Midnite

When: Wednesday, September 21 – 11:00 CEST

Prediction: Fnatic

Fnatic have had a bit of a bad luck in recent months, unable to throw in their best line-up because players have tested positive for COVID and other reasons. They head into this tie against TNC Predator with most of their players available, which should re-energize the squad. They’ll have little to fear against TNC Predator but they can’t get too complacent, of course. TNC Predator have 21 of the 53 ties between these ties with two ending in draws and 30 being won by Fnatic.

TNC Predator are clearly no slouches and have the competitive spirit and quality to cause an upset. As the head-to-head records suggests, it’s best not to predict a draw in this match as that’s been an extremely rare outcome. Fnatic are ranked 12th in the world and clearly one of the best sides in the region, whereas TNC Predator are still trying to make their mark.

Fnatic’s experience at the highest level and the talent on their roster should be too much for TNC Predator. Their mid, offlane and support starts are far greater than that TNC Predator. They head into this tie having won their last eight matches, so they clearly have form on their side. TNC Predator are desperately seeking a win, having failed to get a win in their last nine matches. The last team they’d won to face is someone like Fnatic.

Fnatic head into this tie against TNC Predator as the firm favorites in the BTS Pro Series Southeast Asia. At Midnite, the former have highly favorable odds of 1.64, with a draw offering 2.40 and a loss to TNC Predator offering 8.00. This seems like a fairly safe bet despite the head-to-head history suggesting that there isn’t a lot between the two sides. Fnatic should be heading into this match with a full-strength squad and their best will be too much for TNC Predator.

Lilgun vs Boom ID Predictions

Predictions: BOOM ID to win

Odds: 1.41

Betting Site: Odds provided by Midnite

When: Wednesday, September 21 – 13:00 CEST

Prediction: Boom ID

This looks like another fairly straightforward match to predict. Boom ID are clearly the more experienced and better side at this point in time, ranked 15th in the world. Lilgun, on the other hand, are a bit of an unknown quantity.

Boom Id aren’t in the best of form heading into this match, however. They’ve won two of their last six matches, drawn two in that time and lost two. Lilgun, on the other hand, have lost their last two matches but won the three before that.

The losses seem to have come for Lilgun at the worst possible time, who don’t really have any momentum to help them in what should be a nearly insurmountable task. Boom ID have also comfortably won the last three matches 2-0.

According to the odds at Midnite, Boom ID have got odds of 1.41 to win the match, 2.86 to draw it and 10.50 to lose this match in the BTS Pro Series South Asia. Once again, this looks like a match where it’s best to go for the safe bet. Draws aren’t a very likely outcome in DOTA 2 matches, so it’s best to stray away from that prediction.

It’ll take a remarkable upset for Lilgun to come out of this game as the winners but there’s almost no factor suggesting that they’re capable of it. The match doesn’t suit them, they don’t necessarily have the form, they don’t have the experience at the highest level and they’re certainly not the better side. They’ve got to hope that Boom ID put in a disastrous performance and it’s hard to wager on something like that.

Neither of these matches are likely to rake huge rewards. The combined winnings will have to suffice for now.
