LAS VEGAS, 23 mars 2021 / PRNewswire / - GameCo LLC (“GameCo” or the “Company”), the pioneer producer of next-generation casino games designed to attract and monetize new and differentiated customers, today announced a new round of financing and strategic investment. The round was led by new investment from prominent gaming technology company Playtech and gaming investor Gestion des actifs SpringOwl, headed by industry mainstay Jason Ader, with participation from many of GameCo’s previous investors. The capital infusion is designed to accelerate the Company’s mission to provide revolutionary gaming products and experiences while driving new players and demographics to casino entertainment.
The fundraise comes on the heels of the appointment of Adam Rosenberg as GameCo’s Chief Executive Officer, announced last week. Rosenberg will be joining GameCo full-time from Fortress Investment Group LLC (“Fortress”), where he has been responsible for investments made across the capital structure in the Gaming & Leisure sector globally as Managing Director and Global Head of Gaming & Leisure. He has been a Board Observer on GameCo’s Board of Directors since 2018, when affiliates of Fortress first invested in GameCo.
