Have you ever wanted to cave in heads with a pipe while riding a motorcycle? That’s exactly what Road Redemption offers now that it’s released on Android! Yep! It’s piping time!
Android hyper-violence with Road Redemption!
If you’re looking for a game that lets you brain your enemies at 80-miles-per-hour, this is it. Based on the classic arcade game Road Rash, this spiritual successor combines racing with brutal violence.
Available now on Android, and the other mobile platform, Road Redemption is a port of the PC and console game. Rebuilt for mobile with all-new touch controls, this is a pretty fantastic version of the game.
While it does have some clunk with its touch controls, this is a pretty rock-solid port. If you want to get some fun, arcadey action, you should definitely check it out.
The best part of this new port is the fact that you can try before you buy! Downloading the game gives you access to a few of the early missions. However, you will have to pay around £6.99 to play the whole game.
In our time with the game, we would recommend that you skip the game’s weirdly jittery tutorial. We’re not quite sure why, but the tutorial does not feel like the rest of the game does.

Road Redemption mobile doesn’t require a controller. On the other hand, it does highly recommend one. However, in our testing, we found that touch controls are fine for the most part.
On mobile, Road Redemption offers a lot of different control options. If you find acceleration difficult, there’s an automatic mode. The same is true for handbrakes and steering.
But even with all these options disabled, we still found it to be easy enough to control. Sure, a controller would make things easier, but it’s far from unplayable. In fact, it’s quite fun!
