SwipBox is partnering with Cargus, a well-known courier in Romania. Three hundred parcel lockers will be installed this month. The pilot will take place in Bucharest, which entails another international expansion for SwipBox.
Network of 300 lockers
Danish parcel locker company SwipBox is known for its smart parcel locker network. It is now rolling out a network of 300 lockers in Bucharest with Cargus. The pilot will use SwipBox’s Inifinity lockers, which are battery driven and Bluetooth enabled.
Cargus is a popular Romanian courier which has recently installed several pick up, drop off points. In a response to consumer demand, it also wants to introduce parcel lockers. The network will be placed in convenient places for consumers, making it possible to pick up parcels by foot or by bike.

It is not the first time that SwipBox joins forces with another company. A month ago, it installed outdoor parcel lockers with PostNord Finland. It has previously also worked together with Belgian logistics provider Bpost.
