A stabbing attack has locked down parts of the Sydney CBD and left three people in hospital.
Sections of Goulburn Street and Pitt Street in the city remain in lockdown with a police presence at the two active crime scenes.
It is understood a large fight broke out in the early hours of Tuesday morning outside the Civic Hotel, with two men also detained under police guard in hospital for questioning.
There are reports a pair of scissors was used during the wild 4am brawl.
One male and one female aged in their 20s have been transported to St Vincent’s Hospital while another male aged in his 20s was rushed to Royal Prince Alfred Hospital.

The roads have been reopened to allow for traffic to move ahead of peak hour.
However, both footpaths remain blocked off and could affect pedestrians walking from Central Station into the CBD and police have advised them to avoid the area.
No charges have yet been laid.
