xccurate retires from competition

Kevin “xccurate” Susanto retired from professional CS:GO, the player announced on Sunday. The 24-year-old AWPer left the scene after seven years of competition in which he reached the top of Asian Counter-Strike and claimed multiple appearances at international LANs to focus on a switch to VALORANT.

The Indonesian sniper was an explosive force on the server and produced some incredible highlights with TYLOO during the team’s peak in 2018.

xccurate has retired from competitive CS:GO

xccurate put his name on the radar during his time with Recca which he joined in 2016 and recorded a 1.23 rating across his time with the Indonesian squad. His performances quickly earned him a call-up to TYLOO in 2018.

He joined fellow Indonesian Hansel “BnTeT” Ferdinand and together the pair powered TYLOO to complete domination of the Asian scene. Their success would also translate internationally as the Chinese-Indonesian mix became an unpredictable upset team, capable of taking down the likes of Natus Vincere on their day.

Following TYLOO‘s qualification to the FACEIT London Major 2018 and runners-up finish at IEM Shanghai, the team reached its all-time peak at No.10 in the global rankings. Later in 2018, TYLOO qualified for the Legends Stage of the London Major, becoming the first Asian team to reach and compete in the top 16 of a Valve-sponsored event.

xccurate was replaced on TYLOO‘s active roster in June 2019 by WingHei “Freeman” Cheung, who was signed by the organization following the team’s disappointing 13th-16th placing at DreamHack Masters Dallas.

The Indonesian sniper then moved on to BTRG and later NG, until the latter’s dissolution led to the formation of NKT. xccurate remained with the squad until the following March when he left the active lineup to take a break from competitive play. With a move to VALORANT, xccurate will be following in the footsteps of his younger brother Jason “f0rsakeN” Susanto, who has been plying his craft in the Riot Games shooter.

His former team NKT are currently playing with the following roster:

Mongolia Gan-Erdene “dobu” Batbold
Mongolia Erdenetsogt “erkaSt” Gantulga
Mongolia Yesuntumur “nin9” Gantulga
Korea Hyun-Pyo “XigN” Lee
Thailand Krit “Kntz” Chaiprasit

Thailand Piyangoon “MYM” Kitisin (coach)
