Whenever one of her kids has a birthday, Duchess Kate gives royal fans a treat in the form of new family photos. This time, she’s turned her camera on husband Prince William, who turns 38 on Sunday.
On Saturday, Kensington Palace released two new photos taken by Kate at the family’s Anmer Hall estate in Norfolk, England, earlier this month.
One shows him being tackled by Prince Louis, Princess Charlotte, and the third in line to the throne, Prince George, who turns seven in a little over one month’s time.
Louis, who turned two in April, and Charlotte, who turned five in May, both recently marked birthdays while in quarantine.
The second photo, a vertical shot, features William and the kids together on a rope swing. It provides a better look at Louis, who has developed the same sandy blond hair as his big brother. He’s dressed in a polo shirt and shorts and sitting in his dad’s lap.

William, who’s mostly been seen on Zoom this year due to the pandemic, stepped out Friday to pick up his birthday cake. He was photographed chatting with the owners at Smiths the Bakers in Norfolk.
This year marks William’s first birthday since younger brother Prince Harry and wife Duchess Meghan stepped down as senior royals and moved to Canada and later, Los Angeles. Their son, Archie, turned one last month. They celebrated his birthday in L.A.
