If you are not a current 2023 AERA member, consider joining or renewing first. On the registration site, after reviewing your contact/profile information, click “Join or Renew for the 2023 Membership Year” so that you can take advantage of the discounted member registration rate. Once your membership transaction is placed in the Shopping Cart, you can return to the Registration site by clicking on “Continue to the Registation Form.”
To register, simply follow the prompts to select your registration option, plus any optional events, such as professional development courses. AERA registrants who are interested in registering for the National Council on Measurement Education (NCME) may select the preferred joint registration option. You can also request information on accessibilty and childcare services before proceeding to accept the terms and conditions for the Annual Meeting and make payment.
AERA Members Receive Deep Discount on Registration Fee
To qualify for the AERA registration member rate, your membership must be current through 2023. This means, that if your membership expired on December 31, 2022, you must renew your membership for 2023 at the beginning of the registration process to qualify for the member rate.
Note: Adjustments and/or refunds for registration fees will not be given to individuals who register at the non-member rate and later join AERA.
Proof of Vaccination and Masking
All attendees must have UP-TO-DATE VACCINATION and at least one booster to attend in person. Mask wearing is strongly encouraged, but not required, in common areas. We expect attendees will be unmasked while eating or drinking. Mutual respect and health and safety remain priority goals.
AERA will use SafeAccess as the vendor responsible for confirming the vaccination status of registrants. Shortly after completion of your registration, you will receive a personalized email invitation from SafeAccess to verify your vaccination status. AERA encourages those attending the Chicago meeting with U.S. and non-U.S. vaccination cards to do so in advance. SafeAccess will also have staff on-site in Chicago to review vaccination documentation in accord with AERA vaccination policy that is required to obtain a badge and gain access to the Annual Meeting.
Housing for Place-Based Attendees in Chicago
At the completion of the registration process, the confirmation e-mail message will include a link to the AERA Housing Bureau for registrants to make hotel reservations.
2023 Annual Meeting Website
AERA has launched the 2023 Annual Meeting website in tandem with the opening of registration. The site provides presenters and other participants with important information on registration and housing, upcoming key dates, the AERA annual meeting policy on welcoming and inclusive conduct, the COVID vaccination policy, program highlights, and more.
Be Aware of Fraudulent Registration Solicitations
Any AERA Annual Meeting registration solicitations that you may receive without first completing the registration process through AERA are not sanctioned and should be reported immediately to [email protected].
Questions? The AERA Registration Support Team can be contacted by e-mail at [email protected] or by phone (8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Eastern Time) at (202) 238-3200, option 3. For non-registration related questions, please contact the AERA Meetings Team at [email protected].
